Travel to Innsbruck
By car:
Innsbruck is located on many major traffic routes, which makes the region easily accessible by car.
- From Vienna: A12 motorway.
- From Switzerland: A12 motorway. Through the Arlberg Road Tunnel or toll-free via the Arlberg region.
- From Italy: A13 (Brenner motorway); tolls apply from the exit Innsbruck-Süd.
- From East Tyrol: Take the Felbertauern tunnel toll road or go via the Puster Valley.
Please note that a „Vignette“ (road tax disk) is required for travel on Austrian motorways. Read more here.
In general, there are public parking lots in the city centre, which are subject to a charge during the day. Additionally, there are several underground car parks in the city. However, it is best to ask the hotel you are staying at, if they have parking lots available.
By train:

By coach:
FlixBus provides long-distances buses to Innsbruck from all over Europe. The buses stop on Südbahnstraße. For more information about FlixBus, please see: https://www.flixbus.co.uk
By plane:
Innsbruck has its own airport, which is located on the western part of the city. Public buses connect the airport with the city centre. There are also rental car stations and taxi ranks located at the airport.

MCI I:
By car:
The address is Universitätsstraße 15, 6020 Innsbruck. You can park in the underground car park of the building, which you will find at Kaiserjägerstraße 1, 6020 Innsbruck.
By bus:
The closest bus stops of the public transportation systems are “Polizeidirektion” and “Congress/Hofburg”. Alternatively, you can also get out at “Meinhardstraße”, “Haus der Begegnung” or “Museumstraße”. Please see https://fahrplan.ivb.at/ for timetables and connections.
By foot:
The MCI I is located nearby the city center and just a couple of minutes foot walk from most of our partner hotels.
MCI III:
By car:
The address is Weiherburggasse 8, 6020 Innsbruck. You can park in the underground car park of the building.
By bus:
Take the public bus “W” direction “Alpenzoo”, leaving from the bus stop “Marktplatz”, and get out at “Villa Blanka”. Please see https://fahrplan.ivb.at/ for timetables and connections.
By foot:
From the city center, e.g. the Goldenes Dachl, it is a 20-25 minute walk going slightly uphill.
Innsbrucker Nordkettenbahnen (Furnicular Base Station)
By car:
The address is Rennweg 3, 6020 Innsbruck. You can park in a nearby underground car park, which you will find at Kaiserjägerstraße 1, 6020 Innsbruck. There are also public parking lots along the street, but they are rather rare.
By bus:
