Considering the current global developments regarding COVID-2019 we have decided to cancel ISCONTOUR 2020.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">However, we will print the conference proceedings with all the submitted papers. The book will be available in May 2020 and can be purchased via Amazon.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">&nbsp;<\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">8th International Student Conference in Tourism Research (ISCONTOUR 2020)<\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, Austria<\/h1>\n<p>Jointly organised by the&nbsp;Management Center Innsbruck (MCI)&nbsp;and IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, the <strong>ISCONTOUR 2020&nbsp;<\/strong>will be hosted at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fh-krems.ac.at\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems<\/strong><\/a>, Austria.<\/p>\n<p>Research papers from the widest spectrum of the below mentioned topics are presented by <strong>students and graduates of Bachelor-, Master and Doctoral Degree programmes.<\/strong> Submitted papers must be based on approved Bachelor- or Master-Theses which were submitted between 2017 and 2019, or evaluated seminar papers handed-in between 2017 and 2019.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Paper submission deadline<\/strong>: <del>12 January 2020<\/del> 31st January 2020<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reviewer&#8217;s feedback until<\/strong>: <del>9 February 2020<\/del> 15 February 2020<\/li>\n<li><strong>Submission date for revised paper<\/strong>: <del>15 March 2020<\/del> 22 March 2020<\/li>\n<li><strong>Early bird conference registration closes<\/strong>: 18 April 2020<\/li>\n<li><strong>Conference registration closes<\/strong>: 16 May 2020<\/li>\n<li><strong>Conference dates<\/strong>: 18-19 May 2020<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>The best three submitted papers in the following categories will be awarded!<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Best ISCONTOUR 2020 Research Paper<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Best ISCONTOUR 2020 ICT-related Research Paper (sponsored by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifitt.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IFITT<\/a>)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The awardees of the best research papers will be rewarded during the conference.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Paper Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Submissions<\/strong>&nbsp;must comprise <strong>12 pages<\/strong> and&nbsp;should be innovative in order to advance the body of knowledge of the related fields. All submissions will be evaluated for novelty, significance and soundness by an international scientific review committee. Innovative and useful work often is read by myself as the examiner only, which is a real shame. For this reason, I support the ISCONTOUR and also encourage my students to share the essence of their research with the world by submitting a paper to this conference. Students perceive it as a rewarding experience and a great opportunity to learn and to obtain interesting and valuable feedback on their research from reviewers as well as the crowd at the conference.
